Description
The U.S. Army is seeking responses from businesses capable of providing fire truck maintenance services for Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall. The contractor will be responsible for performing annual preventive maintenance, warranty repairs, and technical support services for fire emergency vehicles. The services will be performed at the contractor's location, with some maintenance services conducted on-site at the Joint Base Myer-HH Fire Station. The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable norms and regulations, including those set by the National Fire Protection Association. Some key services include:
• Inspecting and servicing engines, transmissions, drivelines, and braking systems
• Performing diagnostic checks on electrical systems, including lighting and accessories
• Maintaining and repairing vehicle bodies, including welding and painting
• Providing technical inspection services to assess vehicle condition
• Performing load testing and labeling for supported equipment
• Maintaining and repairing wheel and tire assemblies
The contractor must also provide documentation of all work performed and ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and maintained.
