Description
Rhode Island Housing seeks a qualified janitorial firm to provide comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing services for its corporate headquarters in Providence. The contract is a one‑year, full‑service arrangement covering daily, weekly, quarterly, and as‑needed tasks, with strict security, staffing, and reporting requirements.
• Daily duties include trash removal, floor care (vacuuming, damp‑mopping), restroom replenishment, dusting, glass cleaning, kitchenette sanitation, elevator cleaning, and water‑fountain sanitizing.
• Weekly duties cover stairwell cleaning, carpet vacuuming in private offices, door polishing, and lobby dusting.
• Quarterly and special projects encompass deep‑cleaning of tiles, vent cleaning, floor stripping/refinishing, rubber floor wash & seal, and additional ad‑hoc tasks as directed.
• Vendor must provide all equipment and supplies (except some restroom dispensers), maintain 100 % staffing dedicated to the contract, conduct criminal background checks for all staff, and submit daily reports.
• Payment is on a monthly basis after invoicing; all proposals may be disclosed under the Rhode Island Access to Public Records Act.
