Janitorial Services

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek competitive bids from qualified vendors to establish an Agency Contract to provide Robeson Community College with experienced, qualified vendors to provide custodial/janitorial services. The contract shall consist of an all-inclusive janitorial service, including all necessary labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform the work involved. The contract term shall be for three years, with the option to renew. The vendor shall provide daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleaning services, including emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and dusting furniture and fixtures. The vendor shall also provide emergency service calls and respond to spills and other accidents. • The contract includes 19 buildings on the main campus and three off-site locations. • The vendor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, and supplies. • The vendor shall have a supervisor on site at all times to direct the work. • The vendor shall provide a comprehensive quality assurance program. • The vendor shall have a plan in place for handling blood-borne pathogens. • The vendor shall provide personal protective equipment for employees. • The vendor shall have a plan in place for responding to emergencies.
