Description
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Southern Division is seeking a qualified contractor to perform routine inspection, filter‑replacement, power‑washing, and training services for both underground and above‑ground fuel storage tanks at 31 CHP facilities. The contractor must conduct monthly visual inspections, bi‑annual comprehensive inspections, replace filters, clean tanks, and provide annual (or bi‑annual) training to CHP personnel, delivering detailed reports and certificates within 30 days of each activity. All work must comply with state environmental, safety, and labor regulations, and the contractor must maintain required licenses, certifications, insurance, and security clearances.
• Perform monthly UST visual inspections and twice‑yearly full inspections, including filter replacement and power‑washing of ASTs.
• Provide on‑site training for at least two CHP employees per location, issuing training certificates after each session.
• Submit inspection reports, alarm logs, and training records within 30 days; maintain required insurance, DIR registration, and certifications throughout the 12‑month contract term.
