Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking bids for janitorial services for three facilities: Glasgow State Nursing Facility, Western State Hospital, and Central State Hospital. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, and supplies to perform janitorial services, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the facilities. The vendor will also be required to provide a detailed implementation plan and transition schedule, as well as attend mandatory training sessions and meetings with facility staff. Some key responsibilities include:
* Cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
* Maintaining floors, including stripping, waxing, and buffing
* Cleaning and polishing surfaces, including dusting, damp wiping, and bright metal polishing
* Providing laundry and linen services
* Removing trash and recyclables
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facilities
