Dedicated Internet Access Services

The School Board of Brevard County, Florida, is seeking proposals for Dedicated Internet Access Services. The selected provider will be required to provide a minimum of 40 Gbps and a maximum of 100 Gbps Internet Access port and fiber optic-based transport from the service provider's point of presence to two School Board locations. The contract is expected to start on July 1, 2026. Key requirements include Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) peering, IPv4 and IPv6 support, and a customer premise monitoring system. The provider must also meet specific performance and availability requirements. • The provider must have experience working with Florida School Boards and/or other political subdivisions. • The provider must have a strong technical approach and methodology. • The provider must offer a competitive fee schedule. • The provider must have a good reputation and provide excellent customer service. • The provider must be able to meet the School Board's requirements for Dedicated Internet Access Services.
