Golf Course Irrigation Pump Station Replacement

The Wor-Wic Community College is seeking proposals for the replacement of the irrigation pump station at the Ocean Resorts Golf Club in Berlin, Maryland. The project includes the removal and replacement of the existing pump station equipment, including all associated structural, mechanical, and electrical components. The new pump station should be a prefabricated, skid-mounted, variable speed line shaft vertical turbine pump station with a variable frequency drive (VFD) for pressure regulation. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with utilities, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring the protection of the existing pump housing and irrigation system during the installation process. • The project requires a fully operational, automatic, prefabricated pump station. • The pump station should provide water to the irrigation system while maintaining a constant discharge pressure. • The contractor must submit complete specifications for the proposed pump station, including manufacturer, models, and key features. • The pump station must conform to all specifications and be UL Listed. • The contractor will be responsible for decommissioning, removing, and disposing of the existing pump station. • The contractor must take measures to protect the existing pump housing, concrete slab, and irrigation system during the installation process.
