Outpatient and Community Based Services

Pierce County is seeking proposals for outpatient and community-based behavioral health services to support individuals with ongoing or emerging behavioral health needs. The services should be delivered in accessible, non-institutional settings, including homes and community spaces. The proposed programs must promote recovery, stability, and reduce reliance on crisis and inpatient care, while supporting long-term wellness through whole-person approaches. The services should coordinate with existing systems and demonstrate measurable improvements in health, functioning, and community connection. • Outpatient services, including case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, psychiatric evaluation, individual and group therapy, medication management, and medication monitoring. • Community support services, such as field-based psychosocial rehabilitation, mobile outreach and engagement, community-based de-escalation and safety planning, and case management for clients with complex social needs. • Domestic violence component, including trauma-informed care coordination, services for survivors who may not meet clinical thresholds but are experiencing significant emotional distress due to domestic violence.
