On-Call Electrical Maintenance Services at Authority Properties

The Palm Desert Housing Authority is seeking a contractor to provide on-call electrical maintenance services at its 15 affordable housing properties in the City of Palm Desert. The services may include routine, urgent, and emergency electrical service calls, lighting repairs, outlet and switch replacements, breaker and circuit troubleshooting, panel or subpanel troubleshooting, and other related electrical maintenance services. The contract will be for a one-year term with an option to renew for four additional one-year terms. • The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, disposal, coordination, permits when required, and incidentals necessary to complete the assigned work. • The contractor will be expected to respond to emergency situations within 2-4 hours, urgent situations within 24 hours, and routine service calls within 2-4 business days. • The contractor will be required to provide documentation for each service call or work order, including the property name and unit or work location, date of service, description of the issue, work performed, materials used, labor hours, and photos when requested or when documenting significant damage, unsafe conditions, or completed repairs.
