Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified vendor to provide janitorial services for its Division 8, Carthage DOH Facilities. The contract will consist of an all-inclusive janitorial service and major maintenance, including labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies to keep the subject State building properly cleaned and supplied. The vendor will be responsible for providing general cleaning services, major maintenance services, and supplemental services/emergency services as needed. The contract term is for three years, with the option for extension.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing general cleaning services for two buildings, including cleaning of floors, restrooms, and other areas
• Performing major maintenance services, including interior and exterior glass services, floor cleaning services, and grout cleaning services
• Providing supplemental services/emergency services as needed, including floor stripping and refinishing, and steam cleaning of carpets
• Ensuring that all work is performed in a professional and safe manner, and that all necessary equipment and supplies are provided
