Vessel Towing

The City of Vancouver is seeking a contractor to provide vessel towing services for the next two years to support the City and Vancouver Police Department's anchoring enforcement in False Creek. The contract will involve in-water and on-land vessel towing, with optional scope for boat destruction and disposal. The contractor will work closely with City staff and the VPD Marine Unit to provide vessel details, final impound destination, and escort support as needed. The work scope includes towing services for 30 ft long sailboats, as well as larger vessels up to 40ft long. • In-water vessel towing service from False Creek area to Shelter Island Marina or any lower mainland Marina or to launch site • Trailer loading and blocking/offloading of vessel as required for on-land boat towing • On-land vessel towing service Truck and Trailer from launch to Shelter Island Marina or to any lower mainland Marina or City of Vancouver Abandoned vehicle lot • Vessel deconstruction and disposal services including fuel pump out, bin rental, and any other necessary works for disposal
