Description
The USDA Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Blacksburg/New Castle WC, Jefferson NFs, VA. The services include basic cleaning, entrance cleaning, restroom cleaning, and periodic cleaning. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining floors, removing trash, cleaning drinking fountains, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning interior glass and mirrors. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The government will provide restroom consumables, trash bags, and some equipment, but the contractor will be responsible for providing cleaning chemicals and other necessary supplies.
• The contract will require the contractor to perform services once a week during normal business hours.
• The government will evaluate the contractor's performance through inspections and receipt of complaints.
• The contractor will be required to provide a quality assurance plan and adhere to the government's remedies for non-compliance.
• The facility has approximately 8,000 square feet and 2 restrooms.
• The government prefers service to occur during the identified time frames of 0730am-4pm, once a week.
