The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking a small‑business‑only contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for three research buildings at the Central Great Plains Research Station in Akron, Colorado. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price RFQ with a one‑year base period (09/30/2026‑09/29/2027) and four optional one‑year extensions, for a total potential performance of five years. Services include routine cleaning of approximately 9,850 sq ft of office space and 1,440 sq ft of ancillary space, covering labs, offices, storage, utility and mechanical rooms (mechanical room excluded). The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision, meet specific carpet/tile cleaning standards, and comply with numerous FAR and USDA clauses (small‑business set‑aside, DEI, PIV, labor standards, etc.). A site visit is optional on 9/15/2026; questions are due by 9/14/2026; offers are due 9/22/2026. Evaluation will be lowest‑price technically acceptable.
