Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide and install a shelter at the Martin Luther King Playground. The scope of work includes installing a 20’x20’ square style shelter with multi-rib roof panels, a concrete slab, and four concrete footers. The successful bidder will be responsible for all measurements, site visits, and permits. The project must be completed within 150 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
• The shelter will be a pre-engineered package with a pre-fabricated structural framing system, roof panels, and fasteners.
• The contractor must hold a current Louisiana State Contractor’s License and obtain all necessary permits.
• The project requires a bid bond, and the successful bidder must provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contractor must ensure that all work is done in a workmanlike manner and that the job site is clean and free of debris.
• The contractor must also comply with the Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
