Support Vehicle Tire Services

Riverside Transit Agency is seeking qualified contractors to provide mobile tire replacement and repair services for its fleet of support vehicles. The contractor must operate within 15 miles of the Riverside facility, supply Goodyear or Michelin brand tires (or approved equivalents), and meet rapid response times (24 hr for repairs, 48 hr for replacements). The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price agreement with a two‑year base term and up to three one‑year option extensions. Vendors must complete extensive certifications, including DBE, de‑barment, drug‑free workplace, and FTA compliance, and submit pricing on the agency‑provided price‑form. • Provide new tires, mounting, balancing, valve‑core/TPMS programming, disposal, and related labor for a mixed fleet (approximately 82 tires per year). • Offer tire repair services (patch/plug) on an as‑needed basis with the same rapid turnaround. • Must manage a minimum 40,000‑mile warranty and act as the agency’s warranty agent, ensuring no seconds or damaged goods are accepted.
