Description
The State of Louisiana’s Office of State Procurement is issuing an Invitation to Bid for a blanket‑order contract to supply a wide range of grocery items (snacks, nuts, peanut butter, cookies, trail mix, etc.) for resale in the Department of Corrections’ prison canteens. The contract will run for an initial 12‑month period (Jan 1 2027 – Dec 31 2027) with the option to renew twice for additional 12‑month terms, not to exceed a total of 36 months. Items are to be delivered on an as‑needed basis, with delivery terms of 5‑7 days after receipt of order (ARO). Bids must be submitted electronically via the LaGov vendor portal by the bid opening time on 10/06/2026. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; the State may reject individual line items. All prices must be FOB destination and include freight. The solicitation includes detailed brand and packaging specifications for each product line.
