Modular Facilities Installation

The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin is seeking a qualified design-build contractor to provide and install a new modular community facility at Conway Homes, located at 2504 Connecticut Avenue, Stockton, CA 95206, as well as a modular classroom located at 301 W. Street, Tracy, CA 95376. The selected contractor will be responsible for a complete design-build service, including architectural layout, structural plans, code-compliant integration of building systems, and the fabrication and delivery of modular units. The scope of work includes site work, utility connections, and installation of electrical, low-voltage/data systems, and exterior video surveillance systems. The project must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements. • The community building will be approximately 1,470 square feet in size, consisting of four (4) factory-fabricated modular units. • The classroom building will be approximately 600 square-feet, composed of two (2) 10 by 30 feet manufactured units with windows and an exterior door with a metal ramp and stair configuration. • The project requires compliance with the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, engineering, supervision, and incidentals necessary to design, fabricate, deliver, install, and commission the modular facilities.
