Description
The Webb County is seeking a qualified company to supply, install, integrate, test, and support a turnkey IP-based intercom solution for the Webb County Jail. The system should enhance inmate/staff communication, door control integration, paging, emergency notification, and comply with applicable state standards and best practices for correctional communications infrastructure. The selected company will be required to provide a detailed proposal for the design, installation, configuration, testing, training, and support of the IP Intercom System. The system must meet or exceed applicable Texas Jail Commission standards and all applicable local/state codes.
• Key features of the system include IP intercom master stations, IP substations/intercom stations, door entry/door release interface, paging amplifiers/speakers, redundant network components, and durable, correctional-grade hardware.
• The system must be integrated with the facility's network, access control, CCTV, and emergency systems.
• The company must provide on-site training for administrators, IT staff, and end users, as well as training materials.
• The company must also provide warranty and support services, including manufacturer warranty terms and optional extended support/maintenance agreements.
