HVAC Services at Iowa PBS

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is seeking bids for HVAC services at Iowa PBS. The contract will include monthly preventative maintenance, scheduled part repair or replacement, and emergency services and repairs to the HVAC systems at two locations: 6535 Corporate Drive and 6450 Corporate Drive, Johnston, IA 50131. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and providing emergency services. The contract term will begin on February 27, 2026, and end on February 26, 2027, with the option to renew for up to five annual extensions. • The contractor must have the expertise, license, skills, experience, resources, personnel, test equipment, tools, and abilities to maintain the HVAC system at Iowa PBS in good working order. • The contractor will be required to provide a monthly fee that covers all labor for preventative maintenance services and related consumables. • The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a log of all equipment and performing maintenance tasks as outlined in the schedule. • The contractor will be required to respond to emergency services within two hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
