NOTICE OF INTENT - Sole Source HVAC Building Automation Systems – Siemens or Johnson Controls for the Chilled Water Plant Replacement and Utility Upgrades Project at the VA West Haven Campus

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is conducting a market research to determine the availability of qualified sources that can meet the requirements for the installation of Siemens or Johnson Controls HVAC building automation and temperature controls systems for the Chilled Water Plant Replacement and Utility Upgrades Project at the VA West Haven Campus. The project involves the installation of various equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, communication protocols, and user interfaces. The system must be compatible with the existing Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant, existing boiler plant, and new boiler plant. * The project requires the installation of HVAC building automation and temperature controls systems * The system must be compatible with the existing CHP plant, existing boiler plant, and new boiler plant * The system must provide a single controls option for the overall campus steam and chilled water generating equipment * The system must be able to communicate and monitor devices in seconds * The project involves the installation of various equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, communication protocols, and user interfaces
