The State of California’s Department of Water Resources is seeking a qualified contractor to provide side‑lifting and roll‑off transportation services for loaded and unloaded shipping containers used to move flood‑fight material across the state. The contractor must supply specialized sidelifters and roll‑off trucks, operators, fuel, and consumables, and be available for emergency response with an eight‑hour turnaround. Work is performed on an as‑needed basis at multiple DWR‑managed sites throughout California, with a three‑year base contract and two one‑year optional extensions.
• Provide side‑lifting and roll‑off transport of 20‑ft, 21‑ft, and 40‑ft containers (4,500–70,000 lb) on a per‑hour rate.
• Operate equipment, supply crew, fuel, lubricants, and handle loading/unloading of flood‑fight supplies.
• Maintain 24/7 emergency readiness, respond within 8 hours to state requests, and deliver containers undamaged and on‑time.
