Description
The County of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the purchase of a computer tape library system, specifically the HPE StoreEver MSL2024. The system must be configured to order, factory integrated, and drop shipped from the manufacturer's plant. The equipment must come with a minimum of 1 year manufacturer warranty at no extra charge to the County. The bid must include a copy of the signed bid package and a manufacturer's letter stating that the bidder is an authorized reseller.
• The system must be compatible with the existing computer system to maintain overall system effectiveness.
• The equipment must be new, unused, and current models for the US region.
• The bidder must be an authorized distributor/reseller/service provider for all products and services offered.
• The bid must include a price sheet with unit prices and extended amounts for each item.
• The County reserves the right to select the bidder that is determined to be the most responsive and responsible.
