Description
The contract calls for the design, permitting, installation, and initial monitoring of new soil‑vapor‑gas (SV‑G) wells and a groundwater monitoring well at the Stockton Field Maintenance Shop (CSMS), as well as the de‑commissioning of four existing SV‑G probes. The contractor must manage all regulatory permits, underground‑utility clearance, health‑and‑safety planning, drilling operations, sample collection, laboratory analysis, waste handling, and comprehensive reporting to the California Military Department and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.
• Install one new groundwater monitoring well (≈ 45‑60 ft deep) and two new nested SV‑G monitoring wells (≈ 15 ft deep) per California well‑construction standards.
• De‑commission four existing SV‑G probes, back‑fill with cement, and manage investigation‑derived waste in DOT‑rated drums.
• Perform quarterly sampling of the new wells for petroleum hydrocarbons, VOCs, and metals; upload all data to GeoTracker within 30 days of receipt.
• Deliver monthly status reports, a final site‑investigation report, and compiled deliverables (PDF, CD, DoD SAFE) by the contract close‑out.
