Description
The Alabama Department of Health Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit at each of its county offices and other DHR locations throughout the state. The contractor must complete the PM inspection between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026, document all work with photos and signed forms, and address any identified repairs—provided a written purchase‑order approval is obtained—so that all repairs are finished no later than September 30 2026. Applicants must hold Alabama state HVAC, refrigeration, and Master Gasfitter licenses, and any technician handling refrigerants must possess an EPA Section 608 certification. The contract is limited to maintenance and minor repairs only; new equipment installation or structural modifications are prohibited. Detailed documentation, water‑treatment reports (where applicable), and compliance with EPA reporting for refrigerant releases are required for payment.
• Perform a single comprehensive PM visit at each DHR site (including filter replacement, coil cleaning, electrical and mechanical checks, refrigerant verification, and water‑system treatment).
• Submit completed inspection forms, before/after photos, and water‑treatment analysis for each location.
• Provide itemized repair quotes with markup disclosure and obtain written PO approval before any repair work; all repairs must be completed by 9/30/2026.
• Must comply with stringent licensing, certification, and liability requirements, including EPA reporting and responsibility for any damages caused by technicians.
