Description
The State of Vermont is seeking qualified IT professional‑services firms to enter into a five‑year retainer contract covering a broad menu of 26+ IT service categories, from business analysis and project management to cyber‑security incident response and data engineering. Vendors will pre‑qualify for specific service lines by completing Attachment A1 with their hourly rates and must submit a full technical and price proposal by the September 2 2026 deadline. The contract will be used by multiple state agencies and may be extended to municipalities and school districts, but it excludes any hardware or software purchases.
• 26 distinct IT service categories (e.g., Business Analyst, Infrastructure Support, GIS, Security Engineer, Agile Coaching, etc.)
• Contract term: February 1 2027 – January 31 2032 (5 years) with rates locked for the entire term
• Mandatory compliance: worker‑classification, climate‑change certification, NIST/FIPS security standards, public‑record disclosure
• Submission required as a single searchable PDF (≤40 MB) via email or VTBuys; no public bid opening
• Evaluation based on pricing, technical qualifications, and preference for VT‑resident and clean‑energy‑compliant firms.
