Description
The City of Somers Point is seeking a vendor to supply, install, and maintain alarm systems, monitoring equipment, networking hardware, and ancillary parts for the 2026 calendar year. The contract covers full‑service delivery—from procurement of hardware to ongoing service and maintenance—ensuring the city’s security and IT infrastructure remains operational throughout the year. Evaluation will focus on vendor experience, familiarity with the city, pricing structure, and any additional value‑added benefits. The winning firm may be asked to present its solution to the City Council and must comply with New Jersey equal‑opportunity statutes and indemnification requirements.
• Supply and install alarm, monitoring, and networking hardware for municipal facilities.
• Provide ongoing service, maintenance, and support for the entire 2026 contract period.
• Submit both a sealed physical copy and a PDF electronic copy (email or USB) by 2 PM on September 21 2026.
• Evaluation based on experience, city knowledge, compensation proposal, and additional benefits.
