DSS#2 - Janitorial/Custodial Service for Police Recruit Training Academy

The City of Detroit is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial and custodial services for the Police Recruit Training Academy. The services will include daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning tasks, as well as special requests and deep cleaning. The vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the services. The contract will be for a term of three years, with the option for renewal. The City encourages the use of green cleaning products and prefers vendors who can provide environmentally preferred goods and services. Some key tasks and responsibilities include: * Emptying waste receptacles and replacing plastic liners * Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showers * Vacuuming and mopping floors * Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures * Cleaning windows and glass surfaces * Removing graffiti and performing other special cleaning tasks as needed * Providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the services * Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for occupants and visitors
