Description
The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (UNICOR), is seeking a provider for RFID services to include base and item-level RFID technology at multiple locations across the US. The provider must have VIM-ASAP credentials, designate a local program administrator, and establish system connectivity. The provider must also have RFID expertise on their staff to handle technical issues associated with item-level RFID technology implementation.
• The provider must be able to utilize the existing equipment and setup if UNICOR is currently using an approved VIM-ASAP contractor.
• The provider must be able to provide case level RFID labels, item level RFID labels, thermal transfer ribbons, RFID printers, and RFID handheld scanners.
• The provider must be able to provide technical support for software and equipment-related issues.
• The provider must be able to establish RFID services at all locations within a certain time frame.
