DCSDSN26-003 Food Supply and Distribution

The Douglas County School System is seeking a qualified company to provide food supply and distribution services to 32 schools and the Central Office in Douglas County. The contract will be for a fixed price for the specified contract period, with an estimated annual expenditure of $9,000,000.00. The successful respondent will be required to provide a variety of food products and some supplies, including main entrees, grains, fruits, vegetables, and staple items. The respondent will also be responsible for cold storage and delivery of USDA commodity products at a fixed rate for the specified contract period. Key requirements include: • Registration to do business in the State of Georgia • Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar projects • Liability insurance and worker's compensation coverage • Compliance with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act • Ability to provide all required vendor information and documentation
