Greenmont Pedestrian Bridge Project

The City of Morgantown is seeking bids for the construction of a new pedestrian and bicyclist bridge that crosses Deckers Creek near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Brockway Avenue in Morgantown, WV. The proposed bridge is approximately 100 linear feet in length and consists of a single span prefabricated Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) superstructure supported on precast concrete abutments. The project includes construction of the pre-cast concrete abutments and reassembly of the FRP bridge as well as construction of ADA compliant sidewalks, pavement restoration, and trail realignment. • The project requires a lump sum bid. • A pre-bid conference will be held on March 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. • The construction time limit is 45 calendar days for substantial completion and 15 calendar days for final acceptance. • Liquidated damages for substantial completion time is $1,000.00 per day and $1,000.00 per day for final acceptance. • Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid.
