The Department of War (DoW) is seeking innovative and modernized approaches to the challenge areas listed in the Call for Solutions. The overall objective is to iteratively develop and demonstrate a next generation Secure Unclassified Network (SUNet) that is optimized for rapid experimentation, development, testing, and validation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) tools, as well as data labeling, off the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN). The desired solution objectives include demonstrating ability to rapidly onboard a diverse range of customers, establishing segmented virtual enclaves, and deploying mission-specific data and tools in different enclaves to fulfill mission-specific requirements.
• The SUNet prototype must include all enclave types/characteristics outlined in the Call for Solutions.
• The prototype should be refined and proven enough to be considered a minimum viable product (MVP) no later than 6 months from contract award/start.
• The government’s intent is to award a separate follow-on production contract(s) or transaction(s) for a valid prototype.
• Companies should include a projected milestone schedule for how they will develop the minimum viable product (end result of the prototype) into a full production system no later than 6 months from a follow-on contract award/start.
