Pretrial Employment Services

The Contra Costa County Probation Department is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive employment services for justice-involved individuals released from jail to pretrial services monitoring while awaiting trial. The services will include vocational training, job counseling, readiness programs, and placement referrals. The goal is to break down significant barriers to employment and promote successful reintegration into society. The vendor will be expected to deliver tailored services to a diverse population and demonstrate evidence-based approaches that have shown success in increasing employment rates and reducing reoffending. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing reentry employment support for individuals under pretrial monitoring • Developing individualized employment plans and delivering interventions to improve job readiness • Securing placements and ensuring retention • Collaborating with the Contra Costa County Probation Department and other community partners • Submitting detailed reports on a monthly and quarterly basis • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established evidence-based principles
