Access Control System Replacement and Maintenance

The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to replace the County’s existing access control systems with a modern, centralized, and open-architecture solution across more than 40 County locations. The selected firm will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery of the new system, including planning, procurement, installation, configuration, integration, and ongoing support. The project includes replacing existing access control panels, installing new controllers, and providing training and documentation. The contract term is up to five years, with an option for extended maintenance. • The project requires a qualified System Integrator/Security Contractor to furnish, install, program, test, commission, document, train, warranty, and support a complete replacement of the existing Access Control System. • The new system must be a modern, centralized, and open-architecture solution. • The project includes replacing existing access control panels and installing new controllers. • The contractor must provide training and documentation for County personnel. • The contract term is up to five years, with an option for extended maintenance.
