School Photography Services

Forney Independent School District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide photography services for its K-12 campuses. The scope of work includes taking Fall school pictures, student and teacher class pictures, individual and group staff pictures, and student picture collages. The vendor must be able to produce quality photography throughout the district for students and staff at various levels. The contract term is from the date of award through June 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals. The district requires experienced vendor representatives who can consult, develop, plan, organize, and communicate effectively with district personnel. Some key requirements include: • Providing digital files in a format compatible with the District’s SIS • Offering primary date and retake sessions with flexibility to meet campus needs • Furnishing risers, background, and name board if requested • Providing digital photo and online ordering options • Accepting multiple payments for photography services, including purchase orders, checks, and credit cards • Complying with the Texas Student Privacy Act and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) The evaluation criteria include purchase price, vendor reputation, quality of goods and services, extent to which goods and services meet district needs, vendor's past relationship with the district, and other relevant factors. Some of the key deliverables expected from the vendor are: • A comprehensive price list for standard student packages • A 'Menu of Services' for auxiliary photography (e.g., Athletics, Fine Arts, Prom, Graduation) • A discount price outline for goods or services offered • A plan for providing quality photography services throughout the district The district encourages vendors to provide innovative solutions and ideas to meet the needs of its students and staff.
