Fiber Network Engineering and Construction Management Services

The City of Pasadena is seeking professional services for Fiber Network Engineering and Construction Management Services. The selected vendor will provide engineering and construction management services for the City's fiber network, including design, construction, and project management. The scope of work includes extending the City's fiber network to existing buildings, managing construction projects, and providing technical support. The City is looking for a vendor with experience in fiber network engineering and construction management, and the ability to provide high-quality services in a timely and cost-effective manner. • The City's fiber network currently consists of a 25-mile backbone and several shorter fiber runs linking City facilities. • The City has leased small amounts of dark fiber to local entities and has a fiber expansion program to triple the capacity in the core backbone and extend fiber to new areas. • The selected vendor will be required to provide a proposed work plan, including project deliverables, and a price proposal, including all costs associated with the technical proposal. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-conformity of proposals with this RFP. • The selected vendor will be required to comply with the City's ordinances and regulations, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Practices Provisions and the Living Wage Ordinance.
