Lime Silo Equipment Installation

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is seeking a contractor to install new equipment for the hydrated lime system at the Argo Tunnel Water Treatment Facility. The facility was built to remediate acid mine drainage and has been operational since 1998. The project involves replacing equipment inside the lime silo, which has been purchased by the department and is on site. The contractor will be responsible for installing the new equipment as specified in the attached plans and specifications. The project aims to improve the quality of the environment and public health by ensuring the proper management of hazardous materials and waste. • The contractor will install the hydrated lime feed and mixer system equipment. • The contractor will submit a signed CDPHE Reimbursement Invoice Form for compensation. • The contractor will perform all services and obligations under the purchase order free from the direction and control of the state. • The contractor will be responsible for paying all applicable employment taxes and income taxes. • The contractor will provide and keep in force workers' compensation and unemployment compensation insurance.
