William J. Bryan Parkway Waterlines

The City of Bryan is seeking a qualified contractor to replace 12" and 8" waterlines within the north and south ROW's of William J. Bryan Parkway due to roadway improvements by TxDOT. The project includes new fire hydrants and service transfers. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all applicable permits and inspections, providing performance and payment bonds, and furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the project. The project is expected to be completed within 60 working days from the date designated by the Notice to Proceed. • The project location is the North and South ROW's of William J. Bryan Parkway, from W.J. Bryan's intersection with SH6, extending West approximately 900 LF. • The contractor must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 regarding non-discrimination in employment. • The contractor must provide a proposal bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount payable to the City of Bryan. • The contractor must maintain insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Pollution Legal Liability.
