Description
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Military Division, is seeking a contractor to replace the existing air compressor, dryer, and storage tank at Fire Station Building 3132, Camp Edwards, MA. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, parts, materials, supervision, and other support services to perform the work. The work includes disconnecting and making safe all electrical connections to the existing compressed air system, removing and disposing of the existing compressor, tank, and plumbing, installing a new rotary screw compressor and associated equipment, plumbing, and controls, and wiring the new compressor system for full operation. The contractor shall also provide all necessary permits, inspections, and close-out to include a pressure vessel inspection. The contractor shall ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local Codes, Regulations, and Industry Standards.
• The contractor shall provide a schedule of work within 10 days of the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor shall coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure available access and completion within the contract timelines.
• The contractor shall provide competent supervision at all times when work is in progress.
• The contractor shall ensure that all work accomplished and materials used are in accordance with the contract and current code requirements.
• The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, tools, supervision, and other support services necessary to perform the work.
