Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking proposals for the Accelerated Transformation of Legacy Applications and Systems (ATLAS) Challenge Based Acquisition (ChBA). The goal of ATLAS is to modernize the FAA's legacy applications and systems, with a focus on cloud-native transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. The FAA is looking for a combined solution that includes a systems integrator to build and operate a modernization factory, as well as a software platform that agencies will use as part of ATLAS. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a technical solution that satisfies the FAA's objectives, including portfolio-wide rationalization, AI-enabled analysis, governance dashboards, DevSecOps acceleration, and factory-based modernization at scale.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Modernizing legacy applications and systems to cloud-native architectures
• Implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve efficiency and decision-making
• Ensuring cybersecurity and compliance with federal regulations
• Providing a modernization factory to support the transformation of the FAA's applications and systems
• Demonstrating experience with large-scale IT modernization projects, including portfolio management, rationalization, and cloud-native transformation
