Description
The Hudson Valley VA Healthcare System, Montrose Campus, is seeking to purchase services from a mechanical contractor to replace the existing Webster burner assembly on Boiler #2. The contractor must provide quotations for the following services: replace boiler #2 burner assembly and controls, furnish new burner, install new burner, replace refractory, hard pipe atomization, install propane header, replace O2 sensor, clean tubes of boiler #2, and paint boiler #2. The contractor must also provide a technical proposal, past performance references, and a price/cost schedule. The evaluation factors include technical capability, past performance, and price.
• The contractor must have experience in installation/replacement of industrial or institutional boilers and burners.
• The contractor must provide proof that they are an approved certified installer of Webster burners for a minimum of ten years.
• The contractor must comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act.
• The contractor must provide a warranty for equipment and workmanship.
• The contractor must provide training on new systems to VA staff and deliver O&M manuals and test/commissioning reports.
