Disaster Recovery-Debris Monitoring

Hays County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to perform Disaster Recovery - Debris Monitoring Services in the event of a man-made or natural disaster. The County is preparing for future disasters by entering a pre-event contract for Debris Monitoring Services, on an “as-needed” basis. The awarded disaster debris monitoring management contractor (DMC) shall advise and support the County during a disaster recovery effort and shall be responsible for coordinating with and overall monitoring of the County’s debris removal contractor(s) (DRC) and recommending efficiencies to improve and expedite DRC recovery work. • Monitoring debris removal operations • Coordinating with DRC • Recommending efficiencies to improve DRC recovery work • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations • Providing project management services • Ensuring overall compliance with federal, state, and local regulations throughout the debris removal process
