The project involves updating the patient Wi-Fi system at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System - Fort Wayne Campus. The scope of work includes replacing old routers, adding extenders/mesh to the existing Wi-Fi network, and ensuring seamless integration with the current system. The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, supervision, quality and safety measures, and other resources required to complete the project. The project will be performed in several buildings, with specific requirements for each building, including the installation of new access points, switches, and antennas. The contractor will also be responsible for providing a site-specific safety plan, construction schedule, and submittals to the Contracting Officer. • The project will be performed during normal business hours, 7:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Monday - Friday, except for Building 8, which will be performed during off hours. • The contractor will be responsible for disposing of all waste created during the project and cleaning up their work area after every shift. • The period of performance for this project is 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. • The contractor will be required to provide a list of all usernames and passwords created during the installation and setup of the Wi-Fi system prior to final payment.
