Description
California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) seeks a prime contractor to provide full laundering, de‑contamination, folding, and delivery services for Physical Training (PT) clothing used at its training academies. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, transportation, and related fees, performing the work in‑house (no subcontracting) and meeting strict inventory, turnaround, and waste‑recycling requirements. Bids are due electronically by October 28, 2026.
• Provide collection, laundering, professional de‑contamination, and delivery of PT garments (shirts, shorts, sweaters, sweatpants) for two academies, with approximately 21 laundry cycles per item.
• All work must be performed at the contractor’s own facility; subcontracting is prohibited.
