CONTRACT PROCESS IMPROVEMENT CONSULTING

The purpose of this Request For Proposal is to obtain professional consulting services to evaluate and redesign Ulster County’s contract development and execution processes. The County seeks actionable recommendations for short-term improvements using current resources and long-term modernization strategies to support future investment and improved operational efficiency. Ulster County, located in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York State, serves approximately 180,000 residents across urban, suburban, and rural communities. The County government administers a wide array of programs and services in areas such as human services, public safety, transportation, public health, planning, infrastructure/public works, and economic development. These services rely on numerous contracts each year to support operations, partnerships, and County initiatives. To support effective service delivery and operational efficiency, Ulster County is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to evaluate and redesign the County’s contract development and execution process.
