Security Director

The New York State Department of Health (Department), Helen Hayes Hospital is announcing the release of Request for Proposals (RFP) #C042654. This RFP is seeking to provide a full-time Security Director who will be responsible for managing, providing required reporting, overseeing and operationalizing the Hospital's overall safety program, including management of approximately 15 Hospital Safety Officers. Bidders must be a company or an agency having three (3) years' experience with placement of Security Directors with at least two (2) years of post -degree experience in the area of safety and security in a Hospital or healthcare setting. Bidder must have three (3) years' experience with placement of Security Directors with at least two (2) years' experience overseeing an Emergency Management program, one (1) year of which must have been in a Hospital setting. Bidder must have three (3) years' experience with placement of Security Directors with at least two (2) years' experience in Environment of Care and Life Safety programs.
