Description
The City of Laredo is seeking qualified firms to provide professional Construction Materials Quality Testing and Subsurface Exploration Services. The selected firms will be awarded a contract on a rotation basis to perform geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for construction projects. The contract will have a term of two years with an option for a two-year renewal, beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2030. The city reserves the right to waive any informality or reject any or all proposals.
• The contract will be for a total term of four years.
• The city will issue Professional Service Agreements per project upon funding availability.
• Firms must submit their Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) by August 13, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. (Central Time).
• A pre-response conference will be held virtually on July 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
• Formal questions related to the RFQ must be submitted through Cit-E-Bid by July 31, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. (CT).
