Description
The County of Kings is seeking a qualified vendor to design, install, operate, and maintain a comprehensive inmate communications system for the Kings County Jail. The scope includes telephone services, video visitation, correction‑grade tablets, booking/intake kiosks, and lobby payment/registration kiosks, along with all related hardware, software, security, maintenance, and customer‑service components. Participation requires attendance at a mandatory site evaluation on September 22, 2026, and submission of a full proposal by October 27, 2026.
• Provide inmate telephone (ITS), video visitation (VVS), and tablet (education/entertainment) solutions.
• Supply and install booking/intake and lobby payment kiosks.
• Deliver secure, ADA‑compliant hardware and software, including VRI (video remote interpreting) services.
• Offer 24/7 customer support, maintenance, and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Submit detailed implementation schedule, pricing model, and compliance documentation.
• Mandatory site visit on Sep 22, 2026; written questions due Sep 25, 2026.
