Azure Data Platform Design and Implementation

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is seeking a contractor to design and implement an Azure-based data platform to support data-driven decision-making across various domains. The scope of work includes designing and implementing the data platform, building secure data ingestion pipelines, developing data models and ETL/ELT solutions, and providing training and support to H-GAC staff. The contractor will be required to collaborate with H-GAC's Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Cloud teams to deliver a unified and production-ready data lake and analytics platform. Key deliverables include an Azure BI/AI cloud environment setup, data ingestion and centralization, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance and security. • The contractor will be responsible for designing and implementing an Azure-based data platform. • The contractor will build secure, scalable, and high-performance data ingestion pipelines from on-premises and cloud sources. • The contractor will develop and implement data models and ETL/ELT solutions. • The contractor will collaborate with H-GAC's Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Cloud teams. • The contractor will establish governance, best practices, and comprehensive documentation for security, data quality, lineage, and monitoring in the Azure environment.
