TELEMEDICINE FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY FIRE RESCUE

The Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is seeking information from qualified telemedicine providers to support patient assessment within the Mobile Integrated Health Program. The goal of the program is to provide virtual technology that enables board-certified emergency medicine physicians and other specialized physicians to address non-emergent patient medical and social determinant of health needs. The program aims to reduce avoidable patient transport, improve patient experiences, reduce healthcare and operational costs, and improve patient outcomes. • The program requires providers to have a clear workflow outlining process and procedure for telemedicine assessments. • The program requires providers to have a clear workflow outlining process and procedure for care navigation. • The program requires providers to have a process for equal provision of telehealth assessment for all medically appropriate referred patients. • The program requires providers to comply with federal and state collection laws, HIPAA of 1996, and applicable Florida statutes. • The program requires providers to have the capability to receive, process, and return data to PBCFR.
