Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Kentucky State Treasurer. The services will be performed at the West Frankfort Office Complex, located at 1050 US Hwy 127 South, Suite 100, Frankfort, KY. The facility is approximately 18,480 square feet, but only approximately 14,000 square feet is to be cleaned. Services are to be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
• Daily tasks include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning front lobby glass, and emptying trash cans.
• Weekly tasks include dusting and cleaning floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Monthly tasks include vacuuming furniture and cleaning Venetian blinds.
• Quarterly tasks include cleaning carpeted areas and inside and outside of windows.
• Semi-annual tasks include stripping, sealing, and waxing tile floors and cleaning inside and outside of windows.
The vendor must provide all necessary equipment and supplies, including commercial mop, mop bucket, vacuum, carpet cleaner, and steam mop. The vendor must also provide a list of all employees and their social security numbers who will be providing services.
The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods. The vendor must comply with all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies related to this procurement.
